Our speck is a popular cured ham made with finest pork cuts. A close cousin to prosciutto you may find it hard to spot the difference until you try it. While Prosciutto is rubbed with salt and spices and left to air dry, speck goes through a smoking process as a final stage.
With a sweet smoky aroma, and hints of black pepper, juniper berries and spices, it’s clear this ham is worthy of its own distinction.

A speciality originating in the north east of Italy, this delicacy is starting to make itself known in the world of cured hams. Speck is a deeper pinkish red with a firmer texture than prosciutto. As it’s a cured meat, it can be sliced thinly and eaten as it comes on an antipasti platter, wrapped around fruit, or used as an alternative for regular cooked ham.
