"Pancetta Sarda affumicata", smoked pork belly created in the Sardinian way, is an outstanding example of the island's smoked meat tradition, available in conveniently sliced form.

Natural smoking creates a slow cured meat that is outstandingly sweet, delicate and very versatile. It is prepared using salt and pepper to give it a spicy flavour that adds character to many dishes.

Perfect with our basil and tomato sauce, it adds piquancy to dishes with beans and lentils. Add some ricotta too and serve with penne pasta. As an alternative to a tomato-based sauce try it with our artichoke cream for a delicious, heart-warming family meal.
